Getting Ready + A Skyline First Look
The day began at the Marriott Marquis Chicago, where both Divya and Adam got ready surrounded by friends and family. The energy was relaxed and excited—exactly the kind of atmosphere that lets real moments naturally unfold.
Their first look took place on the top floor, with sweeping views of downtown Chicago. It was quiet, intentional, and one of those moments where everything else fades away for a minute. A perfect way to ground the day before things picked up.

One of the things that made this day especially fun was exploring the city together before heading to the Field Museum.
We stopped at a handful of iconic Chicago locations, including the Chicago Theatre, LaSalle Street Bridge, the Chicago Riverwalk, and Adler Planetarium for skyline views. Each spot brought a slightly different energy—some playful, some more relaxed—but all of it felt easy and natural.

Walking into the Field Museum for their ceremony felt like stepping into something completely unique.
Set beneath the museum’s towering dinosaur skeletons, Divya and Adam exchanged vows under a floral arch bursting with color, designed by Yanni Designs. It was a perfect reflection of them—elegant, but never too serious.
There were quiet, emotional moments during the ceremony, balanced with laughter and a sense of lightness that carried throughout the space. The combination of their personalities, the vibrant design, and the museum setting created something that felt both grand and deeply personal.

After the ceremony, the celebration shifted into full gear.
With JD Eventz keeping everything running seamlessly and Blue Plate handling catering, the reception unfolded effortlessly. The dance floor quickly became the center of the night, with a mix of American pop and Indian music bringing everyone together.
