To date, this has to be one of the most unique engagement sessions I've photographed.  When I'm discussing engagement photo ideas with my clients, I always questions like: "What places have meaning for your relationship?" or "What do you both like to do together?"  Tam & Brendan didn't hesitate and asked "We like to sit on our couch and eat sushi together.

I've been meaning to feature these two stylish love-birds for sometime now.  Eileen & Lee truly brought their own unique personal aesthetic to the shoot, so creatively they were a joy to photograph.  To be honest, I need more motorcycles in my photos. 

Terry & Michael were honestly a dream to work with, and brought an amazing amount of personal vision and style to their wedding.  We met through an old college friend of mine (Go Illini), and had a great time getting to know each other.  I say it over and over, but having a personal connection with the client makes all the difference in the world.

I'm excited to share Carissa & Blake's wedding photos!  It was a beautiful day, and they were a ton of fun to work with.  The wedding ceremony was held at the historic Baker Memorial United Methodist Church in St. Charles, Illinois.  An absolutely gorgeous location in the bride's home town.

I truly had fun time photographing Shannon & Morgan's engagement session!  I first need to thank the good folks over at Revolution Brewing for allowing us to shoot in their taproom.

I had an absolute blast photographing Shelly & Josh for their engagement session!  As with many of my recent sessions, we found ourselves starting off at the couple's favorite bar, Jake's Pub.  In addition to planning on where to go for engagement portraits, I always ask the couple what they like to do together.

truly had a wonderful time photographing Kacie & Varun's engagement session in Humboldt Park.  When it comes to choosing locations for the shoot, my advice to all couples I work with, is to choose places that have significance to them.

Kim & Chad are truly a fun-loving couple, with a natural chemistry.  The Morton Arboretum was a perfect backdrop for their engagement session, and I'm truly looking forward to their wedding coming up in August!

How Courtney & Sean came to find and hire me is one of my favorite stories of 2017.  Initially they contacted me to photograph only their engagement session, since they were getting married out of town and were still deciding on the venue.  On the day of the shoot we had a fantastic time getting to know one another, and creating images around Lincoln Park.
