Photographing Sarah & Chris’ engagement session was a blast. We started off outside their home in Wrigleyville to capture their love for the Cubs, and their pet family, affectionately called “the wolf pack.” I highly recommend included locations that has deep personal meaning to the couple.

In short….I had an absolute blast photographing Candice & Jason’s trash-the-dress session! It took place the day after the wedding at a location you only see in travel magazines…. Fakistra Beach. A small secluded beach surrounded by high cliffs and pristine ocean blue water, it made for the perfect backdrop.

To date, Candice & Jason’s destination wedding in Tasgarada, Greece is the most picturesque location I’ve photographed. This Mediterranean village is located on the eastern slopes of the Pelion Mountains. Known for steep cliffs that surround secluded beaches, the landscape is overwhelmingly lush, even in September.

Lately I’ve been reviewing photos from Candice & Jason’s wedding, and it’s making me miss international travel. Once we’re past the pandemic, I can’t wait to jump on a plane and go somewhere new.

After a year so full of uncertainty and worry, I wanted to reflect on the work I was able to create, and the people who so graciously allowed me into their lives. I cannot express the gratitude I feel for the clients who stuck with me during a extremely difficult time in the wedding industry.

My final wedding of 2018 could not have been with a better couple. Kate & Kris were simply a joy to work with, from the engagement session to their wedding.

Looking forward to Caroline & EJ’s wedding tomorrow! I actually grew with up Caroline’s older sister Alison, so it’ll be great to see old friends. We went to come classic Chicago locations for their engagement session last year.

To date, still one of my favorite weddings. The combination of classic style with a non-traditional format was perfect. Above all, the couple simply wanted everyone attending to have a blast with them.

Modern, stylish, and luxurious, Teddy and Ryan’s wedding is one for the books. I was lucky enough to meet Teddy and Ryan through Lindsey of Simply Elegant Group and I could instantly tell they were one amazing, powerhouse couple.

Photographing Kacie & Varun’s wedding was an absolute joy. Honestly they were one of my favorite couples to work with (click here to check out their engagement photos). Their wedding day blended both the classic and creative, and truly took us around the city.

In the meantime, since we’re heading into September, I wanted to share their fall engagement photos from last year. I had a blast working with them then as I did in Montana. We started off near the Kinzie Street Bridge. The bridge itself has some really nice views down the Chicago River.

I’m so grateful for everyone who has reached out to me for outdoor family portrait sessions lately. Or as I like to call them…. Stoop Shoots! It’s been a wonderful mix of past clients, colleagues and friends.
