Emily and Connor’s spring wedding at Café Brauer in Chicago was an unforgettable celebration filled with love, laughter, and stunning cityscapes. From an emotional first look to a high-energy reception, their day was the perfect blend of elegance and fun.

Chicago’s historic architecture, soft winter light, and a nearly empty cityscape made for a perfect engagement session with Maddie and Sam. While many couples dream of a warm-weather shoot, winter engagement sessions have a charm of their own—especially when you’re drawn to the classic beauty of downtown Chicago.

Back when the world was more open, I had a fantastic time photographing Alekya & Praveen’s engagement session. We started off at a classic location…the Chicago Riverwalk. I honestly have a great time photographing there.

My final wedding of 2018 could not have been with a better couple. Kate & Kris were simply a joy to work with, from the engagement session to their wedding.

I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Bridget & Steven's wedding at the Museum of Contemporary Art!  It was truly a fantastic winter wedding in Chicago.  From the gorgeous ceremony at St. James Chapel, to a twenty-foot sculpture of a cat skeleton at the MCA, this wedding had an incredible range of unique elements.  The couple also had a great mindset; have fun with their wedding party, and give their guests an amazing experience in the city.  I cannot thank them enough for allowing me to be a part of it!  

Amy & Mike were wonderfully laid back, and even a little goofy in front of the camera.  Before their wedding later this year, they are spending large chunks of time apart (Mike is a chemist living in Canada, and Amy is a dance instructor here in Chicago).  So it seemed like they were making the most of their time together.  For their engagement session, Amy really wanted a classic Chicago feel.
